Feedback Widget
Using negative/neutral reviewer is now even easier. Feedback widget is a javascript one liner which you use as your browser tool bar or bookmark. The usual way to look at someone's negs/neutrals involves - retrieving the Easy Feedback page
- entering the userid
Depending on how one does it this can still be labor intensive. You might write the userid on a piece of paper or highlight/select and copy and paste. Well this widget we've got will combine above two steps into as simple as one mouse click or at worst one bookmark/favorite retrieval.
How do I use this widget?
First you must have a browser that understands javascript. Almost all browsers do. Next you must turn on javascript. If you don't even know whether your browser is javascript capable or whether it's turned on, don't panic. It's most likely that it is capable and all browsers come with this thing turned on by default.-
There are many ways to install this javascript one liner. If you are using a late version of netscape and windows machine and you have space available on your netscape personal tool bars you can drag and drop the following link on your tool bar

- Internet Explorer users can do the same thing. Drag and drop above link onto your personal tool bar.
- The following method is compatible with all systems.
- Choose edit bookmarks function --it's usually in the bookmark pulldown menu.
- You should get the bookmark windows pop up on you.
- In that bookmark windows select file and then new bookmark
- You should then get new bookmark window. Enter whatever you like in name slot of that window e.g. vrane feedback widget
- Type the following in location box of the new bookmark window
javascript:void(win=window.open('http://bin.vrane.com/fw?a='+location.href,''))Type it in exactly like shown above. I recommend you select/highlight using your mouse, copy and paste into the location area of your new bookmark window. - Press ok
That's all. If you want this as a tool bar button you just move this bookmark to personal tool bar folder.
Now whenever you look at someone's feeback page or seller list and decide that you want to review negs/neutrals you retrieve the feedback widget bookmark. Remember that your browser current page must be on a feedback page or seller list page when you use this widget.
How does it work?
Javascript one liner sends the web url of your browser page to a tiny program on this web site. The program checks whether the url is an eBay feedback page or seller list page. If it is it figures out the userid and runs the existing negs/neutral reviewer. If it is not it prints the error message and directs you to Easy Feedback page.
