Snipe Link for Seller

If you are a seller who doesn't mind or who even encourages sniping of your auction you can include the following html link in your auctions.
 <a href=http://bin.vrane.com/snp>Enter the text of your choice here</a>
If this link is in your auction anyone who clicks it will be taken to the snipe area with your auction number automatically filled in. You can test the link by entering the url in your browser location box or clicking it here but auction number won't be filled in unless the link is actually in one of the eBay auctions. You will find my Power Adder tool extremely handy to insert these Snipe Links.

In fact you can use Power Adder directly here by submitting your email address in the box

The best way is to enter this link while you are preparing your auctions. You will have complete control over where and how you want it appear.

Notice that this web site does NOT require registration or ask silly questions before anyone is allowed to use this public snipe service. Therefore any potential bidders of yours on eBay can snipe your auctions, not just registered users of this site.

Snipe Form for Seller

If you want to facilitate sniping even further you can include this html form.
<form method=post action=http://bin.vrane.com/sn>
Maximum bid<input type=text size=6 maxlength=6 name=maxbid>
Quantity<input type=text size=6 maxlength=6 name=quant>
<input type=submit value="Snipe Me">
</form>
Quantity line is optional in the above. If you don't do dutch auction you can drop the line with Quantity completely. Notice that this form must be inside of an eBay auction when it is invoked; otherwise it will not work. Here is what it can look like in a dutch auction
Maximum bid
Quantity

These two forms won't work!
It is just here to show how it can look in your auction.
If you are not doing any dutch auction it can look as simple as
Maximum bid

You can directly use Power Adder right here by submitting your email address
The best way is to enter this code while you are preparing your auctions. I recommend using a small table. I want the sample code to be as simple as possible and so don't present the table code.

Notice that this web site does NOT require registration or ask silly questions before anyone is allowed to use this public snipe service. Therefore any potential bidders of yours on eBay can snipe your auctions, not just registered users of this site.
